Are raspberries a Superfood?

Raspberries are low in calories but high in fiber, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They may protect against diabetes, cancer, obesity, arthritis and other conditions and may even provide anti-aging effects and keep our digestive system working smoothly.

Raspberries contain a high amount of powerful antioxidants that may support the body in decreasing the oxidative damage from free radicals and fight inflammation.

Sounds pretty super to me!

And another fun fact is that the raspberries you’re eating are Serbian! Serbia has been topping the global raspberry export list for several years now.

In 2012, almost 95% of the world’s raspberries came from this country.
